Rand Paul Backs Senator Bunning's Opposition to Jobless Benefits Package

Rand Paul (R) says Senator Jim Bunning's (R-KY) opposition is to the nonfunding of the bill, not the bill itself. It should be paid for through the stimulus package, both agree. Further, a pay-as-you go rule was passed just two weeks ago, and now the other Senators have voted to waive the rule they just passed.

Rand, Congressman Ron Paul's (R-TX) son, is running to replace retiring Senator Bunning (R-KY). Senator Bunning was the only Senator to oppose the job benefits bill, thus holding it up because unanimous consent was needed for passage.

Paul offers a solution to lobbying.
