Representative Eric Massa (D-NY) resigned today amid charges that he had sexually harassed a male staffer.

He is not leaving with a whimper. He is openly saying that he's been forced out by White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and other Democratic leaders for not voting yes on the Health Care bill. He talks about Emanuel in particular in the following YouTube audio.

Emanuel was Obama's first appointee after he was elected and was known from the beginning for his liberal use of profanity. The former male ballerina was born in Chicago to Jewish parents. His father, Benjamin, is a Jerusalem-born pediatrician, so it appears probable that Rahm was registered as an Israeli citizen soon after he was born. Rahm went to summer camp in Israel in his youth along with his two brothers, both of whom are also prominent. One, Ezekiel, is an oncologist and bioethicist who influences U.S. government medical policy and the other, Ariel, has a top talent agency in Los Angeles.

Rahm served as a civilian volunteer for the Israeli military in the first Gulf War. It is publicly unknown whether his first loyalty is to Israel or to the United States.

It was Rahm who introduced presidential candidate Barack Obama to AIPAC leaders, endorsing him as a friend of Israel. AIPAC is the extremely powerful pro-Israel lobby. So powerful that all three presidential candidates (Obama, Clinton and McCain) took time off from their campaigns to be at its 2008 annual meeting, along with almost half of Congress. The emphasis of the lobbying group is on the interests of Israel, not the U.S.
