Carlisle Explains 'Demographics' Gaffe

Honolulu mayoral candidate says the word "demographics" was cause of misunderstanding

Admitting to using the wrong word when he chose "demographics," he explained that the place where he chose to be instead, a Four Tops concert, had more people. That's what prompted his decision to meet and greet people there instead of talk city policy with fellow candidates at the forum. And it was a scheduling error that forced him into the position of having to make a choice between the two.
