Aloha. I am proud to announce that on August 18, 2010, I received the official support and endorsements from both the Maui TEA Party and the 1st KONA TEA Party. I am the only candidate for Lieutenant Governor who has supported and sponsored the TEA Party movement.
According to a representative of the Maui TEA Party: “Adrienne S. King has become a “regular” at many of our events, and marched right behind the TEA party in the Makawao Parade. She has taken time to fly over from Honolulu specifically to attend each of our Constitution classes, and has officially sponsored the TEA Party throughout her campaign.”
The 1st Kona TEA Party, whose other endorsements include Duke Aiona for Governor and John Willoughby for U.S. House 2nd Congressional District said about Adrienne: “Adrienne has been both a participant and a supporter at EVERY TEA PARTY, since the TEA Party movement began. She has not missed a one. Adrienne is fearless and bold in stating and acting upon what she believes. Adrienne, like Duke, is very approachable, and not some lofty cog of some remote and impersonal ‘machine’.

Other Tea Party Supporters had this to say:
"Adrienne King, whom I also know quite well, is the only person running for any Hawaii State office in this cycle, who is a true and active member of the TEA Party Movement. Adrienne has been both a participant and a supporter since the TEA Party movement began. Adrienne is fearless and bold in stating and acting upon what she believes. Unlike many political people of today, she does not have her finger to the air, testing which what the wind might be blowing. She forges ahead with inspiration, motivation and determination. Adrienne, like Duke, is very approachable, not a lofty cog of some remote and impersonal ‘machine’. She is married into a distinguished kama’aina family whose reputation for public service is legendary. She will make an excellent, strong, intelligent, independent and supportive Lt. Governor for Governor Duke Aiona. Without any reservations, Adrienne King has my vote."
Robert Gowan,
State Coordinator for Gathering of Eagles,
and Founder of the 1st Kona TEA Party
"I saw her speak at the Small Business Caucus almost two years ago- she was brilliant and off the cuff spot on. One can see that it pains her to sit on the sidelines and do nothing when in her mind are so many solutions...simple, executable. Her teamwork is over the top. She came to my district to do a clean up and would not stop until every bit of junk in her way was cleared- out of nowhere she came to Lower Waipahu to make change, not just talk about it."

"I am impressed that you sponsored the TEA Party on Oahu..shows me that you are not afraid to stand up for what you believe in. You have my vote!"
