Bernie Sanders Wants GMO Labeling

Monsanto opposes

Monsanto, which has a strong presence in Hawaii, with GMO crops all over the islands, had $11 billion in revenues and cleared $1.6 billion in profits in 2011. It is the foremost and largest GMO company. One of its tried and true weapons in getting its way is to threaten or actually carry out legal action, which has cowed opponents, both individuals and government bodies, in the past. Going to court can be financially ruinous just in legal costs, whether or not one ultimately triumphs.

Senator Bernie Sanders (Independent-Vermont) makes his case for GMO labeling and describes some of Monsanto's oppositional tactics.

Monsanto is the company that is named most often as the most evil (and not just by Natural News readers).
