Senator Brian Schatz Backs Amnesty for Illegal Aliens

Brian Schatz (D), U.S. Senator from Hawaii, wants to grant amnesty to illegal aliens who have broken immigration laws. Do Americans get such blanket forgiveness for breaking the law? No, it's illegal aliens who do, which tells us who he and fellow Democrats of his ilk consider important.

He writes in an email today, "Our country is built on the shoulders of generations of immigrants who came here seeking a better life.

"That's why I am so excited to join with 13 of my fellow Senate Democrats to stand up for comprehensive immigration reform, supporting groundbreaking legislation introduced in the Senate this week.

"We have a real chance to create boundless opportunities for a new generation of immigrants who have come to our country to seek a better life for themselves and their families -- and fix our broken immigration system in the process."

He adds, "More than so many other states, Hawaii understands how important it is to move this legislation forward, and I will do everything I can to make sure it does."

This sounds like a crass appeal from the Jewish Senator to our state's minority racial status and our perceived lack of appreciation for American values.

Hawaii and the U.S. has a virtual invasion of illegal aliens — most of whom are from third world, corrupt societies. While immigrants can be and often are an asset, an invasion of illegals that changes American values away from the freedom and moral foundation that has allowed the country to flourish and moves instead towards corruption, taking advantage of the system and dictatorship, is a disaster. Hawaii and the country need controlled immigration, not borders open to all comers.
