Charles Djou, Republican, is running for U.S. Congressman from Congressional District 1 (urban Honolulu). There are 14 candidates in the race. The three front runners are generally acknowledged to be Djou and Democrats Colleen Hanabusa and Ed Case. Djou is the only front runner who actually lives in the district.

She is a Republican, the House Minority Speaker, and represents House District 32 - Lower Pearlridge, Aiea, Halawa, Hickam, Pearl Harbor, Moanalua Gardens.
